The Rothschild legacy began when Gustave opened a pharmacy on South State Street in Syracuse, New York. Over the years, Rothschild's Home Healthcare Center has become a leader in the medical supply and equipment industry.

Rothschild's Home Healthcare Center (RHHC) provides a wide array of durable medical equipment, aids, and supplies. Our trained customer service representatives include Mobility Specialists, Mastectomy Fitters, and Compression Therapy Fitters, who are available to evaluate your needs, answer your questions, address your concerns, and work with your doctor and insurance company. Rothschild's Home Healthcare Center was previously affiliated with Rothschild Medical Supply. In 2004, Rothschild Medical Supply became AJ Medical Supply. AJ Medical Supply provides supplies to physician offices and hospitals. Rothschild's Home Healthcare Center continues to operate its large retail store at 817 East Genesee Street, where we have been since 1954.

Over the years, the Rothschild name has been affiliated with many local organizations. We are proud of our history. The next time you visit the Museum of Science and Technology (MOST) in Armory Square, check out the Rothschild Apothecary Museum. You will see an intriguing display of vintage pharmaceutical treasures in an authentic 19 th century apothecary shop setting.
